How does the water purification process work?
The Purity Co™ Purifying Jug uses a 4-stage filtration system that removes sediment, heavy metals, reduces chlorine, and removes tastes, odours and fine particles.
Water passes through the cartridge where contaminants are absorbed and trapped, leaving clearer, better-tasting water suitable for drinking and cooking. Regular cartridge replacement keeps the filtration effective.
How often do I need to change the filter cartridge?
Replace the cartridge every 4–6 weeks or after filtering 150 litres to maintain performance and water quality.
How do I know if I live in a place with 'hard' water?
Based on a recent Australian study on the quality of water across the country, the following states had hard water coming through their water system.
- South Australia
- Northern Territory
- Queensland
- Western Australia
- New South Wales
Victoria and Tasmania were found to have softer water than the other states, but still had levels of chlorine and flouride in the water whch the Purity Co™ Tap Water Filter can easily remove.
