How do I install it?
Installation is quick and easy, typically taking under 2 minutes, no tools or plumber needed. An instruction manual is included in the box. Fits 95% of taps.
Installing the Purity Co™ Stainless Steel Tap Water Filter is simple:
- Unscrew your existing tap aerator.
- Attach the included adapter to your tap.
- Twist on the filter and tighten securely.
How often do I need to change the filter?
Change every 3 months based on average usage. If the filter cartridge is very dirty and the water flow slows or the taste changes, it's time to replace the filter.
How does the filter remove heavy metals like copper and lead?
The filter utilises advanced filtration technology that traps and removes heavy metals, preventing them from passing into your drinking water.
How do I know if I live in a place with 'hard' water?
Based on a recent Australian study on the quality of water across the country, the following states had hard water coming through their water system.
- South Australia
- Northern Territory
- Queensland
- Western Australia
- New South Wales
Victoria and Tasmania were found to have softer water than the other states, but still had levels of chlorine and flouride in the water which the Purity Co™ Tap Filters can easily remove.
