How do I install it?
Installation is quick and easy, typically taking under 2 minutes, no tools or plumber needed. An instruction manual is included in the box. Fits 95% of taps.
Installing the Purity Co™ Stainless Steel Tap Water Filter is simple:
- Unscrew your existing tap aerator.
- Attach the included adapter to your tap.
- Twist on the filter and tighten securely.
What is the filter made from?
Inspired by natural shells and fibers, Purity Co pairs a 0.1 µm ceramic shell with a coconut-carbon core. The ceramic screens fine particles first. the carbon then adsorbs chlorine, odours and off-tastes, for cleaner, fresher water from the first pour.
How often do I need to change the filter cartridge?
Change every 3 months based on average usage. If the water flow slows or the taste changes, it's time to replace the filter.
How do I know if I live in a place with 'hard' water?
Based on a recent Australian study on the quality of water across the country, the following states had hard water coming through their water system.
- South Australia
- Northern Territory
- Queensland
- Western Australia
- New South Wales
Victoria and Tasmania were found to have softer water than the other states, but still had levels of chlorine and flouride in the water whch the Purity Co™ Tap Water Filter can easily remove.
